The inks commonly used in uv printers include ultraviolet inks and eco solvent inks.
I often buy uv inks and eco-solvent inks, but I am always worried that there will be problems
with the inks, so how to distinguish the authenticity of eco-solvent inks?
Eco-solvent inks commonly used in uv printers have the advantages of bright colors,
high color reproducibility, low corrosion, non-corrosive nozzles and ink-absorbing pads,
easy nozzle clogging, waterproof, sunscreen, and anti-alcohol after printing. To distinguish
true and false eco-solvent inks, you need to look at the following aspects.
1. The convenient way to distinguish is from the sense of smell. The real eco solvent ink
is almost tasteless. When you buy it, you should smell the smell of eco-solvent ink.
If it is irritating, it is not a weak solvent.
2. The intuitive way to distinguish is to distinguish the particle size of the eco solvent ink.
The particle size of the real eco solvent ink is small, and the average particle size is less
than 1um. At the time of purchase, the merchant can provide a test report for the laser
particle size analyzer ink. If the manufacturer cannot get the test laser particle
size detection report, it may be fake.

The difference between the two differs in nature between inks.
1. Eco-solvent ink properties: a new type of outdoor solvent inkjet that is popular in the
outdoor solvent-based digital inkjet market with high safety, low volatility, low to micro
toxicity, and high flash point.
2. UV ink properties: the diameter of pigment particles is less than 1 micron, does not
contain volatile organic solvents, has ultra-low viscosity, and has no irritating odor,
which can ensure that the ink will not block the nozzle during the jet printing process.
The difference lies in the principle of curing and drying. Solvent-based inks are dried and
solidified by high-temperature baking; uv inks are cured and dried by ultraviolet light.
Overview: Eco-solvent ink not only has the characteristics of solvent ink,
but also is more environmentally friendly and more popular.
